The results of CBSE 12th Boards were out yesterday and students passed out with flying colors. 88% passed students are definitely a good percentage for students to achieve collectively. But this year we have something more than that. 38,686 students have scored above 95% this year. What grabs most of our attention is a Delhi Cbse topper boy named Tushar Singh who has scored 100% i.e. 500/500 on the boards.
Humanities student from Delhi Public School, Bulandshahr, secured full marks in his board exam, and even though CBSE did not release the toppers list this year, it was obvious that his score was highest along with another student Divyanshi Jain. What makes him stand out is that Tushar achieved this accomplishment with no tuitions at all in class 12.
About his preparations, he said, “I didn’t follow any strict routine while studying. I just studied around 7 hours a day.” He added “I was on Instagram and social media all through the board exams. I also used to watch TV at times for a break from studies.” He also talked about how it was stressful at first but with time he got used to the pace of exams. “The first CBSE exam was a little stressful,” he says, “But after that, it was a relatively easy affair.”
“In subjects like History or Geography, since we have a prescribed book to answer from, it is still okay to get full marks in them. But when it comes to language, you cannot say that this answer is the best way to write it and so deserves full marks,” he said on receiving full marks in English.
“My parents are very happy with my CBSE result and wish for me to achieve great heights in my career,” he says proudly.
He wishes to do History Hons from DU and become an IAS officer one day. We wish him the best of luck with that.
