In an interview, Hina Khan talked about the media trial against Rhea Chakraborty in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Here is what she said in an interview with the leading newspaper.
Hina Khan who has been supporting #justiceforSSR on social media talked about the late actor and how media channels are talking about SSR’s death. The actress said that let CBI investigate the case and come to a conclusion. Quoting Hina Khan: “At least, let the CBI investigate and come to a conclusion. You may damage her career forever with accusations. She might not be able to face anyone. We are all fighting for the right cause- Justice for Sushant- but it doesn’t have to be this way. For the last few weeks, all that every channel talks about is the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation. I am not saying don’t talk about it but have a balanced view.”
She added, “In our country, there are so many other important issues that the media needs to focus on including the Assam floods, rising number of Covid-19 patients, domestic violence, rapes etc.” The actress further talked about her personal example and revealed how she was trolled earlier. She said, “During and post Bigg Boss, I have been through my share of trolling and abusive language and not by faceless trolls but verified accounts. It was really tough for me to deal with nasty comments.”
Moving on, Hina Khan agreed on the nepotism existing in the Bollywood industry, she said, “You are destroying people by simply blaming and trolling them. It can destroy someone, especially in this pandemic when everyone is fragile and sensitive. Let the truth come out.”
