After the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Kangana has spoken many things regarding the inside working of Bollywood and the drug market. This also included statements about the Mumbai Police and the government in Maharashtra.
Amidst this, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut asked actress Kangana Ranaut to not travel back to Mumbai after she made the new statement that she feared the city police force more than the ‘movie mafia’.
The actress had tweeted that she would need security either from Haryana or Central government and would never accept protection from Mumbai police to expose the alleged ‘drug mafia’ in Bollywood as the investigation into late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death proceeds. She said she trusted no one in Mumbai.
The actress had also tagged BJP MLA Ram Kadam in her tweet, and this action drew the wrath of Shiv Sena and Congress.
Raut criticised Ranaut’s statements in Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ and wrote that that the actress’ ‘treachery’ was shameful, considering that she complains about the city police force despite making a living in Mumbai which is not good at all.
“We kindly request her not to come in Mumbai. This is nothing but insult to Mumbai police. The Home Ministry should take action over it,” Raut wrote.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Ram Kadam told the actress’ side and said that Mumbai police is not willing to providing security to the ‘Queen’ actress even though Kangana Ranaut does want to expose the alleged mafia in her film fraternity.
Jumping into the controversy, Maharashtra Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant warned the actress should first run a background check on Kadam before seeking help due to his ‘dangerous’ history.
